2. What data we process
What you give us in the forms: name, email, phone (optional), city or area, details of your search (operation, budget, bedrooms) or of your property (type, operation, province, expected price), plus any notes you add.
If you register as a housing seeker, also the optional profile details: country of residence, nationality, communication language, purpose (holiday home, relocation, retirement, investment, remote work), timeline, provinces and property types of interest, whether you need financing, and the services (NIE, legal advice, mortgage, relocation) you want us to tell you about. We also record your IP address, user agent, language, the date and the version of the text you accepted, as proof of consent.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Handling your registration and contacting you to provide the housing matching service. Basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6.1.b).
- Sending you commercial emails (news, property alerts), only if you tick the specific box and confirm your address via the link we email you (double opt-in). Basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 21 LSSI).
- Telling you about the services you tick (NIE, legal advice, mortgage, relocation), only if you tick the specific box. We do not share your data with third-party providers without separate consent. Basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a).
- Aggregated demand statistics. We publish, and show to owners and landlords, only counts (by province, country of residence, budget and type of operation) of registrations with a confirmed email. Groups of fewer than 5 people are not shown and no personal data is ever disclosed. Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f) in measuring demand with aggregated data.
- Matching reports for owners and landlords: how many registered people are looking for something similar to their property, as figures only. Same basis and safeguards as above.
- Security and abuse prevention (rate limiting, technical logs). Basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
Consent to commercial emails is separate and optional: leaving it unticked does not affect your registration. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message; this does not affect earlier processing.
4. Retention
[TO BE DEFINED] We keep your data while your registration is active or until you ask for erasure, and afterwards, blocked, for the legal limitation periods. Consent evidence is kept for as long as needed to prove it.
5. Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required. Our hosting and email-delivery providers, and the mailing-list software we host on our own servers, may access it as processors: [LIST PROVIDERS].
6. People living outside Spain and international transfers
We process your data in Spain (European Union) under the GDPR, including if you live in the United Kingdom, the Benelux countries, France, Germany or elsewhere. 7. Owners, landlords and professionals we contact
[TO BE REVIEWED] If we contact you without you having registered (for example because your business contact details come from a partner or from a publicly accessible, permitted source), we inform you under Art. 14 GDPR: we process your name, company, business contact details and the source they came from, to propose that you work with the portal. Basis: legitimate interest in a business context (Art. 6.1.f GDPR and Art. 19 LOPDGDD). We will not send you commercial emails without your prior consent (Art. 21 LSSI). You can object at any time by writing to info@telpoint.es, and we will add you to our suppression list.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw consent, by writing to info@telpoint.es. If you believe we have not handled your data properly you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
9. Cookies
This public site uses no tracking or analytics cookies. Only the internal admin area uses a technical session cookie.
10. Minors
This service is intended for people aged 18 or over.
11. Listings and users across Europe; international transfers
[TO BE REVIEWED BY A LAWYER] The portal shows properties in several European countries, including the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland and Iceland, and accepts users from any of them. Your data is processed by the controller named above under the GDPR, wherever the property or you are located. If you ask us to put you in touch with an advertiser, agency or professional in another country, the data you choose to share goes to them; transfers outside the EEA rely on an adequacy decision (for example the United Kingdom and Switzerland) or on standard contractual clauses. Local consumer and property-advertising rules of the country where a property is located may also apply to its listing.
